Busy weekend! I was in charge of the Sand Castle Classic for our school this year. It is an annual event that is a fundraiser for the Leap foundation which brings art into schools by collaborating with Architects, Engineers, and Construction Companies to build and design a 20 x 20 sand castle. The theme for this year was Classic Children's Stories. We chose The Giving Tree. It was a great day! The kids worked really hard, and it became really windy and cold!!! I am glad that we could be a part of it.
