Spring Break..

I love the desert! We had such a great time in Southern Utah over spring break. We went to Zion, Ryan did not go through the crack,  road bikes, lots of hikes, tennis, pickle ball, swimming, watched High school musical 2 (it was filmed where we stay), and spent a lot of time with our family. When I see these pictures it makes me really homesick for St. George and my family. Can't wait to go back!!

Thanks Dad and Mom!

Bailey's Birthday Party...

Ryan and I took off for a quick trip (over St. Patricks day) to NYC. We had a great time.. Walked and shopped a lot and really enjoyed spending some long overdue time together! Matt and Lindz took care of the kids and ever since we have been home, Abby has complained that Lindsay is a way better mom! I do not feel bad because I know she is!!! These are a few pics she took of the party she threw for Bailey. I was happy because I got to go to the Flower Market with Lindz and do the flowers.. So glad that they live here!!!

SKi Week 2011

Love being in Utah for ski week! This is the about the 5th year we have gone with the Anderson/Marvels. Hopefully there will be many more to come!

Ikes @ Stanford!!!!!

Yeah!!!! My favorite sandwich place is at Stanford.. I was supposed to be in NYC this weekend shopping and going to Mamma Mia, but family obligations kept me home. Feeling a little bad for myself I decided to take my kids and their friends to my favorite place! Ikes...Kids had no school on Friday so we spent the day on our bikes, blades and scooters cruisin around Stanford. Ending with the best sandwiches around.

*Crazy  how much Abby and her friend look alike, Huh?

ATL

So I spent the last week in Atlanta at the Gift and Home furnishing Market. I have always loved spending the day shopping with my Mom, or sister and thought that I could last all day no problem. Atlanta takes shopping to a whole new level. 4 buildings with at least 18 floors each, and connecting tunnels in between buildings, 18 stories above ground! I have never seen anything like it. I loved it (I will admit, I came home very tired)!! I was lucky to go with the owner of the store I get to work at. She could not be a more loved, generous, passionate person. Everyone she meets instantly loves her.

Ryan and my niece Lindsay were home taking care of the kids, and of course did a wonderful job. Tanner was not to thrilled to see that I came home a day early, because he had big plans and did not want an impending job list. While I was away Ry found time to hang the chandelier that had been sitting in the garage for a few months, and learn how to cook our kids favorite breakfast, oven pancakes.... I thought that while I was away they might have missed me, but turns out they were just fine. In fact tonight after Ry came back from work he said he would love to be a stay at home dad and learn how to cook and blog... (and I think he was kind-of serious...)

Winter..

Abby insists on taking the LAST chair.. She is going to be just like her Dad!!

Abby and the Grizz....

My potted plant...

My new treasure that I found at Alameda last week.. Love the color!

Favorite Christmas present (along with the great outfit my mom picked out, and the electric sweeper from RY's mom..)

We had a great time up in UT over the holidays. We had several great ski days! We even got the Grizz out on the slopes. We couldn't pass up the oppertunity to snag a picture of her and Abby in front of the "Grizzly" house. Many thanks to all of our family members that were so generous in lending their homes and cars to our family. We had a great time..

I will say, it has been nice to escape the 10 degree weather and come home to a little sun. I love to reorganize, rearrange furniture, and plant a few pots in January. (Thanks Mom, for the great painting that now sits so nicely on my mantle.) I love it!
